The International Pathogen Surveillance Network (IPSN), hosted by the World Health Organization, has launched the 2026/2027 Catalytic Grant Fund to support innovative projects in pathogen genomic surveillance and environmental surveillance in low- and middle-income countries. Grants ranging from USD 50,000 to 250,000 are available for projects focused on strengthening surveillance capacities, generating evidence, and supporting scalable public health solutions.
Applications are open to IPSN member organizations and consortia led by institutions from LMICs. Early-career researchers and collaborative regional initiatives are encouraged to apply.
